When John Doerr Speaks, should we listen?  Good discussion from one of the top Venture Capitalists in Silicon Valley.

Historically, he helped lead Intel into success, then as a VC has led Kleiner Perkins into Compaq, Cypress, Intuit, Macromedia, Netscape, Lotus, and Sun.  Pretty good record.

He's currently one of the lead investors in Google, Amazon, and many others, and sits on the board of both of those companies.
