duh!! time based blogs - anything that people rely upon for time
schedules. for example; city bus schedules - in reality, schedule
changes - could be blogged, especially in a podcast format. if your
train/bus is running behind, the scheduling group records a message,
publishes to the schedule blog, hits your RSS reader and voila, you are
notified that you can expect a delay.
imagine if airlines would incorporate this strategy....instead of
calling the airline to find out if Granny's flight is on time, you
merely check your feedreader to determine if her flight has been
delayed. no more waiting in the airport for a delayed flight.
of course, this assumes the airlines actually care about flight times,
but you get the potential. #17 of the blog uses....many, many things
could hang off of this use.
