I prefer to start with those nice things and people in our lifes. Crhistmas Day was pleasant, warm, cheerful as in the book. I have been invited for Christmas dinner with the best friend ever - Laura, the lively, lovely and gold-hearted girl originally from Fillipin. I had been making after a long time and for a long time (4 hours) turkey, the biggest in my life. Surprisingly the result was very good! But mainly the other friends invited - family from Fillipin with two children (pretty like those in the children's illustrations), Ondrej (from Slovakia) with beautiful wife, energetic girl from South India, one similar from Albania and some other.A lot of meal, presents, stories...<br><br>It was for me like the best healing gift straight from heaven. Since otherwise I had been totally, properly and utterly upset. It was because of the letters - before Christmas from the local Council (dealing with them for 4 month, trying to describe to them all my curriculum vitae of the past 4-5 years). One letter of approval of the housing benefit and another one from the same day - cancellation! I have already replied - no appealing but fighting. Should they keep up all the ideas, types of truly English behaviours and tradions and present effort of the central Government and The Houses of Parliament, they should now support me in my effort to establish myself as at least a little paid web designer. It would be according all the reports and speaches of Tony Blair - everyone who tries hard to obtain education and to achieve something will be awarded and it is not necessary to be afraid of anything! Just shortly, as I have to continue with ASP etc :: Thanks to all my friends in Luton, on the internet and 'above' for your frienship, good words of support and encouragement to carry on!
