I went to studio today. What did I do? I wedge 20 balls of 200 gm porcelaina and started throwing, like I'm processed. I have much success today; I did 14 sake bowls and only chucked 6 balls in an hour. I even played with the profile edges in different ways. Today, the weather was very nice, spring is in the air, and I can almost put away the ski jacket for the studio.I went to the country fair this evening to help Linda. It reminded me of esoterica in San Fran.

Read something on clayart about making small half pound bowls for glaze test. I liked the idea, so I wedged 20 balls of 200g [slight less than half a pound] porcelain and threw. It turned out throwing small balls take some getting used to. I poked my finger in the centre and it went straight to the wheel. I only threw a few successful ones and I stopped, I think this takes too much clay for nothing. I will make little tomb stones for the glaze tests.
