Show #30: A Very Special Wedding Podcast
This show combines music, story telling and soundseeing to take you to the wedding of Kaleb Child and Coreen Wilson. Held on the September long weekend on the island of Wadzulis, or Deer Island, off the northeastern coast of Vancouver Island, the wedding brings together the traditions and ceremony of the Kwaguilth people with those of their many friends and neighbours of the Northwest Coast. In a special ceremony that links the past with the present, the journey to Wadzulis holds special significance for the people of Tsakis (Fort Rupert) on northen Vancouver Island.
Kaleb and Coreen have listened to my podcast of their wedding and have given their permission to use this on Island Podcasting. So thanks Kaleb and Coreen, for letting the many listeners of Island Podcasting listen to some of the moments of your special day.
