Holiday Storytime with a visit to Mrs. Claus' Kitchen
Hackley Public Library, Youth Services Department. Enjoy stories and activities for the December holidays, then take a trip to Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen! Kids will help Mrs. Claus make a batch of Pretzel Candy Canes, then have a chance to tell her their Christmas Wishes. (She’ll take the messages back to Santa.) Parents can bring cameras to photograph their child with Mrs. Claus, played by HPL staffer Phyllis Mitchell. For more information call 231-722-7276 x 230.

Meet the Michigan Mayhem
Hackley Public Library, Youth Services Department. Pro Basketball comes to the Library! Meet Reggie Fox, Coach and General Manager of the Michigan Mayhem, West Michigan’s CBA team. Learn about making it in pro basketball, challenge Coach Fox in a Nerf Ball game, get a chance to win free Mayhem tickets! Reggie Fox played starred 6 years in the CBA, then toured with the Magic Johnson All-Stars. Coach Fox will tell about his work with the Mayhem and what it takes to make it in sports and life. There’ll be fun prizes, autographs and plenty of time for kids’ Q and A. For more information call 231-722-7276 x 230.
