Altered Books Workshop
Sponsored by Hackley Public Library and the Muskegon Musuem of Art. Bring an old, used book and your imagination to the Muskegon Musuem of Art and learn how to turn the book into a work of art. Art supplies will be on hand, but you may also bring your own. Register in advance by calling Muskegon Museum of Art at 231-720-2571.

26th Annual Charles H. Hackley Distinguished Lecture in the Humanities
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1006 Third Street, behind Hackley Public Library. Featuring the Rev. Cannon Eugene T. Sutton, Cannon Pastor and Director of the Cathedral Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage, Washington National Cathedral. Free and open to all. The Hackley Commendee award will be presented to H. Richard Morgenstern. The Robinson Essay awards will also be presented. A reception immediately following will be held at the Hackley Public Library.
