Book Reviews from Participants in the Pollinate Your Mind Summer Reading Club Spinal Cord Injury and the Family by Michelle Alpert: Did not pertain to our circumstances (degenerative disease) Simply Love by Mary Balogh: I like the fact that the main characters aren't standard issue drop dead gorgeous. Love will find a way. Simply Magic by Mary Balogh: This is the 3rd book of the series that I have read. Each book was different and expressed an individual moral. This book suggested that we all look deeper into ourselves before we can claim a less than shallow life. Simply Unforgettable by Mary Balogh: This is the first book I have read by this author. I am glad I borrowed the entire trilogy! I liked the plot twist and the fact that the gentleman was besotted and twisted himself into knots while the "damsel in distress" refuses him! I laughed, a lot! Crossworder's Holiday by Nero Blanc: 5 short stories that were fun, fast reads and the crosswords were great. Earth Changes Update by Hugh Lynn Cayce: Not current, but substantiates other books we are reading about predictions/psychic abilities. Tenderness by Robert Cormier: This book was deeply intriguing. One reason that I liked it was because it allowed you to enter the mind of both Lori Cranston AND Eric Poole. The ending was greatly unexpected but definitely interesting.
