Book Reviews from 'Get Your Paws on a Good Book' participants Bette: An Intimate Biography by George Mair: A truly inspirational biography about a truly gifted actor, singer, and mother. Tomb of the Golden Bird by Elizabeth Peters: Great stories about an English family working in Egypt for some twenty years, as Egyptologists. During their work, they also solve crime, entire family involved. Also, I learned much about the excavation of many tombs and related facts. Doormat by Kelly McWilliams: About a 14 year old girl that gets pregnant, and is trying to have the baby without telling her parents. Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline Cooney: I read this book because my daughter was reading it. It is an interesting storyline about a teenager seeing herself on a milk carton as a kidnapped/missing child. She goes through a lot of emotions as she decides whether to call the number or not. 8:58:56 AM
