Book Reviews from participants in the Pollinate Your Mind Summer Reading Club Divining Women by Kaye Gibbons: Yech! Incredible Incas and their timeless land by Loren McIntyre: McIntyre relates this history of the Incas in a fluid, breezy, easy-to-read, style. Published by the National Geographic Society, the book is filled with gorgeous color photos and exquisite color illustrations. The author-photographer lived in the land of the Incas for 20 years, trversing mountains, jungles, and deserts to gather material for this book. A wonderful and engrossing read! Reckoning by Sharon Key Penman: Very accurate. I love the historical views. She is a visionary. Princess: The true story of life behind the veil in Saudi Arabia by Jean Sasson: One woman's story shared to opne the world's eyes to injustice in Saudi Arabia. She describes customs and traditions that have hindered women for a number of years. Writers in the Spirit by Carol Rottman: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It provided double inspiration in the form of both a devotional/mediations book as well as spurringcreativity for writers. It is a Christian focus,which I loved. The author shares her experiences with humility. Hard Frost by R. D. Wingfield: Excellant writer of murder-mystery stories. Keeps reader on the edge. 3:53:29 PM
