Går det pyromanjævler løs på Flisa? Brannstiftere på Flisa! Sent søndag aften ved 23:30 tiden observerte jeg at noen ungdommer hadde satt fyr bak en bygning i Gamle Flisa. Bygget som sto i fare for å bli antent, innholdt et dekkfirma. Hvis dette hadde tatt fyr, ville det få alvorlige følger for beboerne i området. Det var bare en tilfeldighet at jeg fikk se dette, og varslet politiet på linje 112. Etter en halv time kom brannvesenet med brannlederbil og sprøytevogn. Det tok ikke lang tid før de hadde brannen under kontroll. Det som jeg reagerer kraftig på, er at politiet overhodet ikke så seg nødsaget til å møte opp. Der jeg kommer fra, er det vanlig at politiet er på plass ved branner for å ta opp forklaringer, og drive etterforskningsarbeid. De mulige gjerningsmenn, eller vitner til det som skjedde, ble overhodet ikke verken anholdt eller forhørt. Før ilden blusset opp, ble det observert 2 mopedister og en eller flere på sykkel. Hvis det går brannstiftere løs på Flisa, er det politiets soleklare plikt til å innhente opplysninger. Alt annet er å betrakte som tjenesteforsømmelse. Det er å håpe at politiet retter opp denne fadesen ved å innkalle til forhør de to mopedister som sikkert kjenner syklistene, og sikkert brannstifterne. Vi som bor her, har i klar erindring fra oktober for et år siden når en ruset person satte fyr på huset til formannen i handelsstandsforeningen på Flisa etter å ha truet med hagle. Nå er det nok!
