Latest Poll: Further advance for the Progress Party


The December poll from Opinion shows a four-point gain for the right wing Progress Party (Frp), compared with last month. According to the poll, Frp now has the support of 24.8 per cent of the electorate. It shows a slight drop for the three parties in the coalition government.

120 jobs lost at Freia


Kraft Foods have decided to move 15 per cent of the production at the long-established Freia chocolate factory in Oslo to Lithuania. This means the loss of 120 jobs at Freia.

Operations secured for car manufacturer Think


The production of the electric car Think has been secured, after the owners on Thursday decided to put more money into the company. This also means that 40 jobs have been saved at the Aurskog plant.
