Fast Company
is on the block. There's a magazine that kept me from drinking the
finance and accounting Kool Aid while I went through my MBA program. It
was always a refreshing reminder that the root of business is not
ratios and profit margines, but rather art, architecture, experience
and culture. Will be interested in seeing what happens next.

The Seattle Public Library provides RSS feeds
for various library functions: due status on books you've checked out;
availability status on books you need; and catalog searches you are
performing repeatedly. Blockbuster and other retail DVD/VHS rental
stores should take note to increase traffic. I had suggested similar
processes to Blockbuster but received no response. Now I am a die-hard Netflix customer.
