Learning to use OPML for the
last couple of evenings. At first glance it looks like a geeky
application, but peeling back the layers, you realize how it's just
like every other "productivity" tool, except users are involved in the
development.
The file structure, multi-level outlines, easily published to the web
or shared among other users might just be our future. It sure as heck
has a lot more flexibility and durability than the thousands of
revisions of useless Word documents.
