I swore I wouldn't panic, but after paying $3.59/gallon I actually considered going for 2 wheels - in style of
course. It doesn't quite work with the suburban design around here, but
it definitely makes you think about what to build into future
developments. I'm willing to bet the bike lane gets a little wider next
time.
