As far as I can tell there are only 3 real differences in the MacBook Pro computers. The extra $500.00 buys you a 100 Gig drive vs a 80 Gig drive, 1.83 GHz processor vs a 1.67 and 256 GDDR3 memory vs 128 GDDR3 memory. Seems to me Apple could throw in the 120 Gig for that upgrade price but what the heck. The Intel chips coming this early is really putting the pressure on software vendors to get their products out the door in the universal binary format. Good luck all you programmers! Once the new software hits the market, the speed tests will be the proof Apple needs to show they picked the right chip vendor.
