High winds here in Oregon, suggest most users unplug their computers from both power and Ethernet connects/Phones. Wind causing trees to fall over power lines can cause power surges that can fry computers and hard drives. So if you value your stuff unplaug it and that includes all electronics(TV stereo DVD VCR)
