My last post cited Scheme, Perl, and Java as my "favorite" programming languages.  I anticipate that I may, in time, add Objective-C to that list.  Some readers will know that such an expectation suggests a Macintosh connection.  (And/or GnuStep.)

It's true.  I'm a Mac user (almost exclusively, lately), and a moderate enthusiast, though I'm not in love with Apple as a company.  I'm primarily interested in software to be used by individuals, or very small organizations, and the Mac seems to me to be the platform of choice for that sort of application.

Your mileage may vary, but that's how I see it.
