Automated Email Capture, Workflow, Reporting, Archiving for Both Compliance and Litigation
Austin TX, October 3, 2006 - RenewData, a leader in Information Governance solutions, today announces that it has successfully completed its first, large-scale installation of ComplianceNOW at a Global Fortune 50 financial services company.
Initially covering more than 20,000 retail brokerage employees, the RenewData solution simplifies sampling and reporting compliance obligations under SEC rule 17a-4 while providing its client with significant savings on data storage. Featuring automated data capture, workflow and reporting, the ComplianceNOW installation is also integrated with RenewDatas ActiveVault evidence management platform so that it can provide rapid response and large cost-savings when the data is required for litigation.
"A proactive, cost-effective and integrated solution that supports a company's compliance and litigation requirements has been our vision and now it is a reality on a large scale," said Bob Gomes, president and CEO of RenewData. "We capture the data, provide single-instance storage, route it for real-time compliance handling and preserve it for reporting and litigation all in a forensically sound and secure manner. For the first time, the corporation has unified access and tools for compliance, internal investigations, early case assessment, and electronic discovery in litigation."
In a related development, the company announces that it has adjusted staffing to reflect the successful completion of its development and initial product commercialization. RenewData now employs 218 employees and full-time equivalents at its Austin, TX headquarters and at its offices in New York, Washington D.C. and Minneapolis.
