This is my initial review of the Akimbo set top box for downloading video from the internet and viewing it on your TV. Here are my initial thoughts.

It's easy to install. I hooked up and had the box connected to the internet within minutes of unpacking it. Even with my home wireless network encrypted.
It did take 3 hours from there before I could watch TV since the box had to update the software before downloading content.
Interesting Content, most of the content is material that you couldn't find on most cable systems. There are currently over 13000 shows availible online.
You can select programming from the box's menu, or from the internet and it will download to your box.
You cannot view a program until it has finished downloading.
There is a lot of programming that costs extra to view, maybe we can talk them out of this in the future.
They currnetly have Rocketboom, and Command N. Where are the programs from revision 3. Kevin Rose, let's get systm, and the broken on Akimbo.
