Upsetting News I just received a phone call today stating that my father has a broken jaw.  The jaw is broken because the bone died while undergoing radiation for cancer.  It sounds like they will have to perform surgery to reconstruct the jaw.  I had heard nothing but good news since the last surgery that removed all the cancer.  This is definitely not good news.  My family has gone from one health disaster to another since May 2001.  First my mother was diagnosed with cancer and was actually with us much longer than expected, but we lost her in February 2005.  In October 2005 I went into the hospital and underwent 3 surgeries myself keeping me out of work for six months. Now this.  News has to get better sometime.......... 7:51:26 PM    comment []

DC Gun Ban Unconstitutional I was informed that this was covered on Rush Limbaugh's show today, and immediately started looking for Information that would confirm the story.  Google returned nothing, as of course did CNN, Fox, etc...   I finally found the story at NRA ILA website.  The District of Columbia Court has ruled that the 2nd Amendment is in fact an individual right.  Any laws restricting that are there for Unconstitutional.  I hope this holds up to appeal, and NY an CA  are added to the list of places to do this to. 4:43:09 PM    comment []
