"Coincidence," you say? To emphatically reiterate my point: it is my contention that it mathematically defies the laws of probability that Hirsh and Venice are not related." --sniggy (2007)

Cut and Paste

Count the words, it's not as easy as you think. The correct answer is in the comments.

The Black Dahlia's other papers.  The ferry across the Styx was two coppers, but it was a nickle to Terminal Island. Some of the sailors would swim it, having been cleaned like a fish in the Beacon Steet bars. The Vincent Thomas Bridge ended all that. But the Long Beach bus was a quarter. Time seems to have employed a red shift here. The Red Dahlia would be the one with Communist connections. So long March hare.  LAPD gathering wool. NOW. EGO. EDDOE. TOE. FOOT. ARLO?

The whole "Dahlia's" slab is red ink. Like a stop sign. Further attempts at acertaining a true message. My question is why send the thing at all? Which other letters are red? No allusions to black, the henna job did the trick. She's the Red Dahlia, now. Hair is Dahlia's belongings 'Dahlia's.  There's the second repeater; "'Dahlia's".

Los Angeles/ Los Angeles.

Dahlia's²

College boy. But, a freak, like Heirens. A real quiz kid, and who despite his small stature, 5-5, 125, was a football star at Southern Cal. Fluent in three languages, but a bungler in the sack.  An unresovled primary impotence, becomes an hurried wartime marriage which ends in a terrible tragedy and a nice Section 8 discharge for Bugs Bunny.
