Taco loco
I swear I get more E-mails about the graphics on this blog than anything else. Most are delighted and want to know were I got this or that image. I get them from Google searches and other published sources that are already in the public domain. While I honor all requests for removal of the images for any reason. I don't use copyrighted images unless they are shopmarked as such. It's all in fun until somebody gets the wrong idea. My readers are my best protection, they have keen senses and let me know if there's a problem in advance, and I aim to protect them.
That said, I took my homage to St. Monica down because of some vile and suggestive comments about a married woman, The Saint, one of my readers. It seems Briar, a moderator at buckshort dotbom was suggesting that sniggy and my admiration for this reader is anything other than agape love. Tim Finnegan was a married man until the day he died. "The blog of bitter men"? "The blog of love"? I love L.A...We love it. See? Try to make some nice with them and wham, this fishwife starts her shit. She thinks she's the Saint. She ain't.
While I was looking into this item up at bethsnort dotcom, found they were all dressed in their fat little piggy suits for Halloween. But wait! Isn't that a fragment of an actual criticism of my solution. Huzzah!

I bought a good map of LA, a pencil, and a ruler. I pinpointed the critical points of interest and made markings of X,Y, and Z and then connected the dots. It is amazing how many Taco Bell franchises there are. Especially if you randomly assign points of termination.
Your are quite correct, Hair, old man. I have slightly stacked the deck for the purpose of a subroutine proof, but those points are anything but random. All are on Cardinal directions, all terminals are on fixed headings. Each given point is either one, or two degrees of latitude or longitude separate, but equal from each other. Exceptions being the addition of Torrance airport to the south and the absence of any discernable landmark between Santa Monica Airport and 3825 S. Norton. Both are clues. |
