No I haven't been sick, but I have been to the Doctor...Now I am sick! Hello, I haven't posted in a few days. Today I would like to share a pharmacy, doctor drama. It goes like this I have been taking blood pressure medicine for years and for the last 5 or 6 years I have had the same prescription Lisinopril. Well on Wednesday visited Walgreens to get a refill, got one but not the lisinopril (may not be spelled correctly) the lady at the counter told me that my doctor had denied the prescription!! and I am out and now I am mad. Phoned the doctors office he's out to lunch. His girl confirmed that yes he had denied me my blood pressure medicine. I am Livid, keep in mind that know one had written or called or notified me in anyway that I wouldn't be able to have my prescription filled. Oh by the way ,from my house to the pharmacy is a 60 mile round trip. His assistant goes on to say that I must come in before he will refill my scrip!! remember I am out and I still don't have any blood pressure medicine, borrowed some from my wife. Am I wrong does anyone else think that this is not a good way to handle a drug that I need, it's not a narcotic? wouldn't a good businessman at least give you some notice? and how hard would it have been to just write the pharmacy that this would be the last time it would be filled? Does anyone besides me notice that putting the patient or customer first is No More. Now it's all about the dollar, first they fill the waiting room knowing full well that they don't have time to see everyone, but what the heck you can wait. Well I won't be waiting in his office again I'll wait in the doctors office who won't cancel my prescription without warning, just to get another office call. Thanks for your patience
