Robots Assimilate Into Cockroach Society. sufijazz writes "Scientists have gotten tiny robots to not only integrate into cockroach society but also control it. 'This experiment in bug peer pressure combined entomology, robotics and the study of ways that complex and even intelligent patterns can arise from simple behavior. Animal behavior research shows that swarms working together can prosper where individuals might fail, and robotics researchers have been experimenting with simple robots that, together, act a little like a swarm.' The BBC also has a video story on this."

Trends & Innovations - Thursday (Investor's Business Daily). Investor's Business Daily - E-mail systems such as Yahoo and Google are gearing up to offer social networking through their users' mail. The companies are trying to make accounts into personalized home pages to challenge current social networking such as MySpace and Facebook. In people's pre-existing e-mail accounts already lies the key to a social network -- a social graph, which is the connections you make while you e-mail your friends. With that in place one's e-mail may soon offer much more. [Yahoo! News: Technology News]

It is important to be cautious when meeting people on MySpace. While many use MySpace to find new friends some may use it for other purposes that may not always be positive. This is why MySpace has been working on getting potential members to give accurate, detailed information on themselves so that they can make the site safe. While a good level of anonymity can be offered on MySpace there are still some parts of meeting people on MySpace that will require a good amount of information to give.

http://www.myspacerelayout.com/

There are various different parts of yourself that you will need to give to MySpace in order to be a member. These parts include your full name, your age and your marital status. This is needed because people who are interested in meeting people on MySpace will need to get all of the accurate information on others so that they know who to start relationships with.

Information like your full name, your place of birth and your children and education information can help, and it can be especially useful for meeting people on MySpace because others will know that you are truthful. Of course, there are some parts that you should not share with others. These include your Social Security number, your bank account number and credit card information.

Harassment is an especially important part to consider when meeting people on MySpace. Administrators on MySpace are especially careful with handling harassment, and you can avoid it when meeting people on MySpace with a few steps. First, you can ignore and delete and harassing emails you may get from MySpace users so that they can stop sending them to you. You can block users too to keep harassment from occurring. Also, if a profile of you was created by someone else with harmful intent you can contact the customer service part of MySpace to handle the situation.
