I was just reading one of Seattle PI's Todd Bishop's articles, this one a look at business lessons learned by Jeff Raikes, a top exec at Microsoft. I loved this quote from the article, about how pissed his old boss at Apple, Steve Jobs, was when he left Apple to come to Microsoft (keep in mind this was back in the 1980s):

"Taking the job was risky, Jobs told Raikes, because Microsoft was going to go out of business."
