It's starting to feel a bit like we're dawning on a transcontinental media-war.

I live in Belgium and have businesses and family in neighboring Holland (the Netherlands).
I am also a US citizen.
So far this week I've received two requests from respected tv news programs to comment on the "growing anti-americanism in Europe".
wtf? Did I miss something here? No one throwing any rocks my way lately. In fact, no one BUT media people has even mentioned it to me. But it gets worse, dutch newpapers are now commenting on headlines from US papers. I read on the cover of de Volkskrant, a well respected daliy, that the NYPost is publishing headlines like: "Vive le whimps" and Axis of Weasles" in reference to germany and france. Don't know if that's true.

We must be careful not to slip into an "us" vs "them" mentality.

Hey, I'm just a human, with a family, living just left of Old Europe. Peace.
