Christmas is coming
The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, the tree is up and mostly decorated, the gifts have been thoughtfully purchased and are waiting to be wrapped. Santa's cookies have been baked.
Outdoors it is a winter wonderland. We had six inches of new snow last week. Today the skies have cleared, and we have brilliant sunshine shining against blue skies and glorious, glistening white trees covered with hoarfrost. Yes, the temperatures have dropped (2 below).
