A lovely Alaskan Summer Day
We have had a perfectly beautiful Alaskan summer day and evening---with a "Lisa & Julia" Christmas gift for dinner. It's cooled off a bit, a gentle breeze is blowing, and the bugs and haze are no where to be seen. It was a perfect evening to once again to do a couple Omaha steaks on the "barby Q".
Last week it was hot, hot, hot---82 degrees and not a breath of air stirring. The windows and doors were wide open but not a bit of air. The only thing that drifted in was the smoky smell from the dense haze caused by the 66 fires burning in the Interior.
What a change after last summer's temperatures in the high 50s and low 60s!
