Sun posted the Beta 1 release of JDK 1.5 (or what I guess now is properly known as "J2SE 1.5") with a number of important language enhancements to make basic, everyday programming easier. I look forward to trying out a lot of these features. This document highlights What's new in JDK 1.5.
Looks like Brian Duff's already been checking out the new Swing look and feels that will ship with JS2E 1.5.
