The big, w'will she, won't she' question of the Games has been answered - and Paula is to run tonight!

Tables are being set here, but I've got to run over there ASAP, and get a ticket. Maybe I'll get scalped above face value for the first time. If so - she'd better win.

Meanwhile - here's some snaps around the 50km Walk course this morning. My film shots will need to wait 'til I get back, these are some of the spectators you may know and love...

Got back too late, and had to get up early for the 50km, to post last night's photos from the track.

This will be remembered for the night when the Greeks had a 'hissy fit' over Kenderis during the 200m. They whistled, booed and shouted the defending champion's disrupting the start by 5 minutes.

This will go down as one of those famous non-sporting moments as John Drummonds antics last year in Paris - and I was there for both!

Robert Korzeniowski of Poland celebrates winning the gold medal as he crosses the finish line after the men's 50 kilometer race walk at the Olympic Stadium in the Sports Complex in Athens on 27/08/2004 © GETTY IMAGES/Andy Lyons

What a great performance by Bobby K!

Sure we expect it every time, but that's because Robert Korzeniowski always delivers. This was his fourth Olympic Gold medal, and third consequetive 50km title. What's even as amazing was his time - just outside an Olympic record in 32C heat!
