Today, I'm in Orlando at the Emerson Process User Conference. I guess I'm some sort of glutton for punishment--or else like I usually say I'm like a sponge absorbing information. Jane Gerold had a "guest posting" Tuesday of her impressions. No doubt this ia a big event with about 1803 total attendees and (if I remember correctly) about 300 information sessions.
This afternoon, I sat in a session where Marcus Webb, who is Director of Technical Development for Biogen Idec, showed how the new FDA guidelines on Process Analytical Technology (PAT) can provide measurable business benefits. I think we'll have more to say on this subject during the next year at Automation World.
