Al Smith: "Radio's Mail-to-Weblog feature is very cool indeed. The post below was submitted via a NTT Docomo i-mode phone's email application (all the way from Japan). Maybe it's the first Radio weblog posting to come in via i-mode??" Cool!

Pete Dapkus: "Imagine if you took *every* line of software currently in deployment, counted how many times it had been deployed, and sorted the list. I think you'd find, that at one end, there was a very narrow band of software that been deployed millions of times... At the other end would be an amazingly long list of lines that had been deployed exactly once."

Igor Bazdyrev: "Of course, search engines link to everything, but calling them the center would be like saying that the Yellow Pages is the center of New York City. When measuring the linkage that represents people voluntarily linking to one another, the patterns look a lot like real life."
Update: Igor set me straight. This wasn't his quote, and was in fact from Joshua Allen. Whoops.

I am a Defender-ship.
I am fiercely protective of my friends and loved ones, and unforgiving of any who would hurt them. Speed and foresight are my strengths, at the cost of a little clumsiness. I'm most comfortable with a few friends, but sometimes particularly enjoy spending time in larger groups. What Video Game Character Are You?
