Shaw Cable in Canada is planning to include a PVR service in Calgary and Vancouver next year. "Projects in the pipeline include the Network Personal Video Recorder system that will allow consumers to pick their 10 favourite shows and Shaw will record them every week to be downloaded and viewed at any time."
