Lance found dutch finance minister Zalm's weblog and wants to know if it's any good. I read it on a regular basis, and although basic blog features such as permalinks, blogroll and an rss feed are lacking, Gerrit does get pretty personal in his writing. But he uses it purely as a diary, never came across a post that was just Gerrit, and his own viewpoint about current affairs. Regardless, it's a start.

Phil Collins dropped by the radio studio this morning on a promo tour for Brother Bear, which he scored and did most of the soundtrack for. I've met Phil several times and he remains the same old jolly chap, even though we both are a 'bit' older than the 'In the air tonite' days. Which, btw, Phil says was recorded in his attic and if listened to carefully, you can hear his refrigerator kick in about half way through the song :) When asked about his future touring plans he said that he won't tour anymore after 2006, 'cause he wants to be a 'proper dad' and just make music at home.
