Arthur Conley died of cancer yesterday on his farm in the south of Holland. Conley, best known for his hit 'Soul Music' moved to the netherlands in the 70's and worked with many dutch soul bands until his death at age 57.

Ga zo ff een tukkie doen, hoorde net voicemail van Hart van Nederland, of ik mee wil werken aan een 'item' over nederland precies 15 jaar online. Buiten dat ik nu ga slapen, zie ik niet wat ik eraan kan toevoegen. We hadden toen amper voicemail, en zie nu met welk gemak ik dit bericht online publiceer. Met alle spam is email zo goed al dood. Onbruikbaar. Weblogs zullen veel taken van email overnemen.

Dave asks how the new outliner-based CMS should be packaged. Seems like a perfect candidate for what we used to call a web-service. Connect your outliner to it and it spits back static pages to the ftp server of your choice...

I've been hosting the morning show on Radio Veronica for the past couple of months. Our ratings for sept/oct just came in. Overall we jumped 22%, and in the (very important) male 30 year old demographics the increase was over 53%!
BTW, we produce the show entirely in Radio's outliner [screen shot]. Makes for perfect archives and will become seriously interesting when I can start 'snapping' in other outlines. Imagine a community of radio folks connecting their outliners...
