Brent Simmons: I just got my mail—the April issue of Linux Journal was there. Guess what? There's an article by me, written with Doc Searls, in there. Unix Under the Desktop, it's called. A review of Mac OS X. Page 66. I haven't been published in print since my college newspaper. I'm proud.

Alwin Hawkins: If you are writing a Manila- or Radio-based weblog under OS X and are not using Archipelago, you are working too hard. Really. This is solid software that does the work so you don't have to.. It has editting, formatting, dictionary, word lookup, even the ability to build custom tags!

Dave Winer: The art of the next bomblet won't be in the bombing, it will be in the smooth ramp, the seduction that gets people to try it without being overwhelmed by its hugeness.

I'm still very happy with my PowerShot S110. You can probably pick one up pretty cheap these days. However, if I were buying a camera today, then I'd take a look at Minolta's Dimage X — it's smaller and lighter than the S110 and looks to have the same features and then some. 2:59:53 AM Link Google It!

Brent Simmons: The Web File Types plugin for OS X has been released. Here's a screen shot. Coincidentally, today is three years to the day since the last release (which was for OS 8). This little piece of software has been around for going on five years.
