> Steve Michel: Well, this World Series loss is just too depressing to bear. The Giants got beat, that's all there is to it. I turned the channel as soon as the game ended, and just don't want to watch the news or read the paper. There won't be a next year, either: this group won't be together next year. I bet Baker will be gone. Kent. David Bell. Lofton, Sanders, Santiago. This was the best shot the Giants had had in a long time, and it'll probably be their last best shot for some time to come.

> Doug Baron: Watching Jake and Dave's World Series blogging has been fun, but the Angels just caught the 3rd out of the 9th inning, the Giants stranded two base runners for the third time and the game is over. Damn -- I wanted to see Barry Bonds get his long awaited series. At least he had a good one -- no shame; unbelievable stats. And hey -- I just learned that the Angels were established as an expansion team back in 1961, the year I was born. I should be a fan! They were due too. And they sure earned it -- the comeback in game 6 showed a lot.

> Jeremiah Rogers: I've been sort of following the world series this year and I'm excited. I hope the giants win just because Jake Savin and Dave are in SF. It's so cool that we have coverage of the sports over the net. What's really interesting isn't going to be learning what happens through the weblogs but learning what they think about what happened. Dave's Coverage. Jake's Coverage (hopefully)....
