> Dorothea Salo: To content my most excellent client, I needed to upgrade from Quark XPress 4 to Quark XPress 6. So, fool that I am, I wandered over to Quark[base ']s website and tried to request an upgrade. Type the serial number on your product. Okay, done. You didn[base ']t register...

> Sergio Carvalho: My brother recently started writing his first webapp. When looking for docs on correct usage of HTML+CSS, I realized most content out there is either:

> Rogers Cadenhead: On Scripting News today, Dave Winer notes UserLand's absence from the weblog tools category of the Google Directory. Google creates that directory by importing the Open Directory Project database and sorting category pages by PageRank. Radio UserLand is included on the Open Directory Project's weblog tools category, which is edited by John Grohol and Laura Tripp, so it appears to be a problem that will be correcting itself during the next import.
