Hal Rager: Went to the local Apple Store for the Night of the Panther rollout. There was a surprisingly large crowd in the queue outside the store for 9:30 on a Friday night. In the 20 minutes I was there I saw two 17" PowerBooks, four 15" PowerBooks, one 12" PowerBook, and three 12" iBooks get carried out. New ones in those slick boxes. There were at least three desktops rolled out on carts as well. Lots of iPods, iSights and various other 'small' items were in the hands of the folks around me in the checkout line. Some serious coinage heading Cupertino way...[blivet] 2:55:55 PM Link Google It!
