[I now have the very first promotional products for the :elements: music group on sale. Frankly, they're barely promotional, as we love the artwork that Lisa D'Amico allowed us to use.
She inaugurated the ":elements: :: Artist in Merchandise::" program where local artists allow us to use their work, you get cool stuff, and they get some exposure.
We expect the ":elements::guy:" will come to represent us, and that you'll recognize him no matter where he lives. These products might well be limited editions. Get 'em while you can! Profits (such as they are) are distributed to the artist of the design on a product by product basis, our share is plowed back into the project. I thank you for supporting this little guy.] *
[Before anyone else asks... yes, I'm well aware that most of you have not heard a single note, never mind a CDs worth of music. Well, I'm working on it, but recordings are expensive even when they're inexpensive, if ya know what I mean. Soon. Really. I Promise.] *
zoomTone: "Imagine the intimacy of a song whispered into your ear, so close it raises goose bumps."
[zoomTone Records is Seth's new record label. "Sauce" is the first recording released. I've heard this recording... the performances are stirring and the recording is wonderfully intimate. Don't miss it, this is the real deal. Support the little guys!] *
Scripting News: The value of the truth? "Was there any truth to the history books we read when we were children?" [History is written by society that won the battle. It most likely has nothing to so with the truth as you are defining it. Even when "good" triumphs over "evil".
I dare say I lost my last full time job over your kind (and my kind) of truth Dave. The folks around me didn't want to hear it because it placed too much blame on "us" and not enough on "them". I can't seem to live that way, for better or worse. And it's certainly been a rough financial year for me.] *
Tres Producers. "Back from recording the radio show. Let me be clear: the key to making FREE CDs TO BLOGGERS work is to have enough bloggers interested to make it worth the record companies' while to send us promotional CDs. In other words: I NEED YOUR HELP IN SPREADING THE WORD. I would guess if we don't get at least 100 bloggers interested in receiving and reviewing new releases, then the record companies won't go for it. IT'S UP TO YOU." [I sent in the info Eric has requested. We'll see. I certainly hope that the bloggers can also talk about the music produced by other bloggers...not just by the labels.] *
[Good morning music fans! Another busy day. I'm going to be distributing some material today. Wish me luck!] *
