Drivel:  All through my career I've been chasing the almighty dollar.  I have been decently successful in capturing a few of them.  However, I am by no means independently wealthy.  I have had some time over the past couple of months to think about this.  I am currently of the opinion that you can have experiences or money, not both.  Money can buy experiences, but they are usually manufactured with the majority of the decisions preprogrammed.  I don't see a whole lot of fun in this.  Real experiences let you make all of the decisions in anticipation of the outcome.  Itís kind of like a game of craps, but I trust my ability to make decisions more than I would trust a set of dice.  Iím ready to take on any and all experiences.  Are you?  10:27:00 PM   comments ()

Drivel:  I had an interesting discussion this afternoon with a friend about how time seems to be passing so much more quickly as we get older.  I have a theory about this.  I believe that as we get older each unit of time becomes a smaller percentage of our lifetime, thus making it seem like to time is passing more quickly.  Additionally, for most people, our knowledge base is always growing which aides our ability to make quicker, better informed decision.  This is a perfect example of Kurweil's Law of Accelerating Returns.  10:14:00 PM   comments ()
