We went to see our OB/GYN on Friday. Shellie and the baby are doing just fine. We heard the heartbeat again. Every time I hear it it is as if time stands still. It's like a slow motion film segment of a hummingbird in mid-flight. The baby has a very strong heartbeat and the doctor is very happy with how the pregnancy is progressing. Shellie had some blood drawn for downs syndrome and spina bifida tests. We should find out the results of the test next week, but we aren't worried since there isn't any history of these diseases in our families. In two weeks we go in for the BIG ultrasound where we get to find out the sex of the baby. Shellie and I are very excited. We should know right before we go on vacation on May 22. So, family get ready for the big phone call and expect another round of audio files. 11:52:09 PM    comments ()
