#title formattable server

Victor, nettoyeur.

Installed debian potato on cabbage, the cracked machine today. I needed to get my mp3s back online. But the potato installer didn't see the ata-100 controller, I only have an iso of the woody installer, and the cd writer machine was down with hardware issues. But the big slow disk of mp3s is on the slow ide bus, so a 15 minute temp install of just enough to run apache. Works for the time being. Compatibility mode and all that. swap memory, give the cd writer machine a fresh install since it corrupted its file system from the flakey memory, and I can burn a woody installer.

I hate computers. They should 'just work'. But we live in a dangerous world where nothing is really safe anymore. And computers don't just work. You have to format a few of them every so often, pour encourager les autres.

If that doesn't work, well, I've got a 4th story deck. That should keep them in line.
