Microsoft sues college student and ... basically loses.

Chem student tames Microsoft's legal eagles | The Register
. Students buys software at college bookstore, but then decides he does not want it. Bookstore refuses to refund his money. So he offers it for sale on eBay for $203. Microsoft files suit alleging irreparable and substantial harm to Microsoft. Student countersues alleging Microsoft makes it difficult for consumers to return products... and Microsoft settles.
