Over the top, or Route 101 Revulsion....
I have been on the road more or less for the last two weeks, and now am back at reality central in my life. The various road trips were fun, hanging out with great people was better, but today I decided that the anti-spam people need our support moral and financial support. Every single time I get spam e-mail inside of Outlook, I create a simple rule that says take this "sh*t" and file it in the deleted items folder". I learned the hard way to never, ever click the un-subscribe button. All that does is tell the spammers that you have a pulse and so they can gang up on you.
I just looked at my folders, and saw that in the last 24 hours, I had gotten 101 spam e-mail messages. I carefully looked through the list, trying to figure out if there was any logic to the madness!
It must be that I don't have a Nokia phone, go to porno sites, use Viagra or gamble and they are trying to wear me down. Seeing this frontal assault, I can promise you, that there is less than zero chance that I am every going to use any of these products, and the day that someone comes out with the software that is the functional equivalent of a return e-mail neutron bomb, I will buy their stock and their products.
