Well, There Goes the Weekend I received my Action Pack subscription from Microsoft today.  They called about a week ago offering a one-year subscription to the Action Pack for a tremendously great price.  The regular price of $299 is darn fine to begin with, but this was a lot less than that.  I subscribed. My box of software showed up today.  Here's what is in the box. Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1 Microsoft Office XP Professional with Service Pack 1 Microsoft Project 2002 Professional Microsoft Publisher 2002 Microsoft MapPoint 2002 Microsoft Outlook 2002 Microsoft Visio 2002 Professional Service Release 1 Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 with Service Pack 1 Microsoft SQL ServerTM 2000 Developer Edition Microsoft Exchange 2000 Enterprise Server Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002 Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server Microsoft SharePointTM Portal Server 2001 Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 3 Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 2 Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3 Microsoft ISA Server Service Pack 1 Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001 Service Pack 2 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition I think the beta versions of Office System 2003 are in the package, too.  I'm especially looking forward to that. So, I think it is time to reformat an old hard drive I've not been using all that much, install a new instance of Windows XP - or maybe Windows 2000 - or maybe both <g> - and start loading up software.  Its time to start learning.
