FPS TimeI've been in the mood to play some first person shooters lately and my timing couldn't be better with the pending releases of Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament.

Admittedly I've only played with the Quake 3 Test (the true demo's supposed to come out any time now), but at this point I prefer Unreal Tournament. We'll see how I feel after the Quake 3 demo comes out. On the one hand I want to support companies like Id that are doing concurrent development on Mac and PC platforms, but I don't know if I see myself getting both games. Plus with games like Baldur's Gate on the horizon there's just not enough time in the day to play them all.
