OK....I am still struggling to get Radio 8.0 working as I would like. I need to mirror changes to my site to the URL of Mac Net Journal at http://www.whiterabbits.com/MacNetJournal.html, but so far when I can get FTP mirroring to work at all, all I can do it replace the index.html file for my main White Rabbit Publishing page with the Radio based page that is supposed to be MacNetJournal.html... Too frustrated to continue tonight...it is time to give this a rest and try again tomorrow... 11:02:22 PM

Welcome Mac Net Journal readers! I am in a transition over the next couple of days moving my site from being a standard Web site programmed by hand in BBEdit to a more automated and more interactive site running on the new Radio 8.0 software from Userland Software. This should be an exciting move for Mac Net Journal, adding more features to the site and making it easier for me to offer more information and tips about OS X on this site as the software streamlines working with the Web site. Thanks in advance for your patience with this move, which will mostly involve bringing the navigational links on the left-hand side of the former Mac Net Journal page into the template for this Radio-based page. OK...it is going to take a little more work than I orginally planned to make Mac Net Journal a Radio Web site once again. Under Radio 7.0 I was able to simply cut-and-paste the HTML from the template I use for Mac Net Journal into Radio and make the page render the way I wanted, but now Radio is a much more feature-rich program, which is a good thing, and I can't quite figure out how to translate the simple HTML I use for MNJ into the more complicated HTML used the render my Radio site. So, I will have to slowly recreate the navigation links and bring the content, including my graphics and other stories, into my Radio site one by one, testing as I go along. I think the journey will be worth it! Now, back to digging around in this cool software... 12:46:52 PM
