Well, after a looong absence, my work has intruded into the tranquil world of Weblogging. John has finally hit the wall.

I won't try and expand on what he's said, since he nails it oh, so precisely.

I've been where he's at...sorta.

The Macintosh Consulting firm we work at here in Boston doesn't reimburse for travel costs we incur. This works out to not-inconsequential amounts.

When I was hired I was using my personal car(one of These), and pretty well ran it into the ground. I had a mishap (Long story) and it ended up getting taken off line.

Anyways, I've been pushing to get travel reimbursement instituted pretty much for 3 years. Really trying for about 5-6 months now. My sense o humour about the whole thing, like John's now appears to be, it pretty much used up.
